Santos Cage Doll Reproduction Vintage Religious Decoration

This sweet lady is a vintage-style Santos Cage Doll. She has a medium complexion with brown hair and eyes. Her hair is molded brown (which helps to hold on to tiny crowns), with a cute curl in the front. She is painted with a gold dress fading in to a dark brown wooden cage and base.

She is approx. 20" tall, with a 5.5" wide base. Her body and cage are made of wood, and her head and hands are cast resin.

The lady's elbows & hands are jointed, providing her with limited motion/postures.

Fashioned after European Santos, they are carefully hand crafted. To make the hand painted doll unique, our craftsman distresses it; picking & choosing from a range of faux aging techniques. Variations occur with each handcrafted piece, particularly when being 'antiqued'. This is character, and not a flaw.
